Description
Palmitoyl pentapeptide-3 is a lipophilic modified peptide originally developed by based on wound healing research and currently being investigated as an anti-aging ingredient. It helps to prevent fine lines induced by repeated facial movements and increased collagen and elastin matrix. It also prevents premature aging.
Functions
1. Anti-aging, wrinkle smoothing and cutaneous barrier repair, remedy slackening of the skin.
2. Stimulation of GCP-2 (Granulocyte Chemotactic Protein) expression. GCP-2 is a chemotactic protein able to recruit cells, involved in the preparation and cleansing of the site, to the damaged area.
3. Anti-inflammation, counter irritations.
